Leasing Program
Leasing offers riders the opportunity to take the next step in their riding without the full commitment of ownership. Riders benefit from increased consistency in the saddle, a deeper partnership with one horse, and greater responsibility both in and out of the ring.
Our leasing program supports skill development, confidence, and progression, making it an ideal option for riders preparing to show more regularly or considering future horse ownership.
Leased horses are fully integrated into our training and lesson programs, with guidance from our trainers to ensure appropriate horse-and-rider pairings.
Lease options are flexible and designed to support individual goals, whether that’s gaining more ride time or building show experience.
How It Works
Leasing a horse varies on several factors including length of lease, ability of the rider and ability of the horse.
-
Our horse's lease prices vary depending on the quality and jumping ability of the horse.
We have month-to-month leases at the barn available ranging from $1,800-$2,200. This fee includes: one jumping and one flat lesson. There is an additional fee to take the horse to a horse show. Show fees are dependent on show rating and location.
Lessees will be responsible for the deductible (up to $1000) of the horse’s insurance policy should the horse become injured in their care. All other veterinary costs are the responsibility of the Owner.
All lease fees are due the first of the month. -
We have lease options from walk-trot-canter ponies to horses that have competed in the 1.40s or shown at national equitation finals. We aim to match each rider with a horse that will keep them safe while allowing them to continue to grow as a rider.
-
While lease availability varies at any given moment, our trainers have an extensive network and can help find the right horse to bring back to Brooktree.
