Diana Yeater | Head Trainer
Diana grew up in San Diego, and has been riding here for more than 30 years. She started her own business in 2005, transforming her passion and vast experience into a thriving barn. Diana has nurtured countless riders from their first time on a horse all the way through to becoming successful showjumpers. Central to her ethos is the belief in holistic horsemanship, ensuring that every rider plays an integral role in the care and connection with their horses.

Armando Feliciano | Head Groom
We are proud to have Armando as our head groom. With over two decades of experience, Armando's attention to detail ensures that each horse is not only clean but also comfortable and healthy. Armando's deep understanding of equine behavior and needs makes him an invaluable member of our team. His commitment to the well-being of our horses has set a benchmark in grooming standards. We are truly fortunate to have him as part of our Brooktree family.

Jeanette Pelizzon | Assistant Trainer
Jeanette joined the Brooktree team in 2025. While new to San Diego, she has ridden and competed around the world. As a junior rider, she ranked nationally in USET, Medal, Maclay, and Junior Jumpers, competing at top events like WEF and Devon. As an amateur, she rode and trained young sales horses across Europe. Jeanette believes good equitation is the foundation for any discipline and that jumping is simply great flatwork with obstacles.
Facilities
Conveniently located less than a mile from the I-5, the barn offers easy access to two of Southern California’s premier show venues, the Del Mar Horsepark and the Del Mar Fairgrounds, with additional renowned facilities such as Desert Horse Park within driving distance. The property features a large jumper field, two hunter rings, and a dedicated hacking ring, along with seven turnouts, a 60-foot round pen, and an equiciser. Horses are accommodated in indoor, outdoor, and indoor/outdoor stalls, with multiple cross-ties, wash stalls, and ample parking for clients and trailers.
